I would like to know what type of background and education a person needs to have in order to pursue a career as a computer forensics technician.

Background: basic Systems Administration (SysAdmin), with an emphasis on data mining
Education: Bachelors in C-Sci, any decent college.
plus a love of good old fashioned hackerly exploring, looking for the unknown
plus the physical ability to enjoy sitting in front of a screen and keyboard for hours and hours at a time, with your brain lost inside the computer. (some people just dont get that.)
