I had an extra mini-itx motherboard with memory so I ordered a disk and case with PSU -> I got finally one full dedicated backup computer.
In the future I may drop this computer somewhere offsite in case of fire. This computer needs only a power cord and I’m planning to put it somewhere hidden place in our apartment.
Specs:
- Intel’s Mini-ITX motherboard
- dual core HT atom 330
- 2 GB RAM
- 2 TB disk
- 802.11n
- gigabit ethernet
Software:
- openSUSE 11.3 (64 bit)
- rdiff-backup
